Round 6 was held on August 17 and 18th. 154 blocks
(39.657 sq. km) were awarded to 19 companies.
21 of the 24 qualified companies
presented bids, totaling the amount of R$ 665.2
million in signature bonus. The minimum exploration
programs offered exceeded 131,000 Work Units –
this is equivalent to more than R$ 2 billion invested
during the Exploration Phase.
