Round 5 Guide
All
documentation submitted should relate
to the ultimate parent company which,
in accordance with section 5 of this
Final Tender Protocol, may designate
an affiliate to sign the Concession
Agreement, in the event of success.
The ANP may, at its sole discretion,
allow the qualification of a significant
subsidiary company.
In order to participate in Brasil
Round 5, a company must be individually
qualified by submitting certain documentation
to its technical, legal and financial
qualification and paying a participation
fee, according to the block the
company wish to bid.
This guide is
given only to the purpose of orientation
of participating companies. All details
of the qualification process are described
in the Final
Tender Protocol.
Foreign companies
may qualify for Brasil Round 5 and
present bids. In case of success,
Performance Guarantees should be provided
by the qualified company to a Brazilian
affiliate that will sign the Concession
Agreement.
The first step
for qualification for Brasil Round
5 is the presentation of an Expression
of Interest, composed by a presentation
letter, a Power of Attorney and a
Confidentiality Agreement. A Data
and Information Package will be provided
to companies that present the Expression
of Interest and pay appropriate participation
fees. Complete information on the

In order to participate
in Brasil Round 5, a company must
be individually qualified by completing
the requirements of: Technical
qualification, Financial
Qualification and Legal
Qualification.
Details on the
notarization requirements may be obtained
at the Final Tender Protocol.
Qualification
documents will be accepted up to 15
days after the publication of the
Final Tender Protocol, at the following
